Since graduation, she has worked at TI in the technology industry and, most recently, she has been homeschooling their son and daughter for the last five years. She plans to familiarize the students with the history of the world so that they have a better comprehension of currents events and how countries are interrelated historically, politically, and culturally.

Teacher: Cindy Stephens has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Spanish along with a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education with a minor in English as a Second Language. She has experience teaching all levels of students from the very young to college level adult classes. For over 20 years, she and her husband, J., have homeschooled their nine children with six graduating from Stephens Christian Academy. In her most recent teaching position, Cindy prepared international students to communicate so that they can successfully use English in a college setting at Grayson College in Denison, Texas. Her passions are relationships and learning; she loves to see the lightbulb of understanding switch on when a student who has been struggling finally understands a concept clearly.
